Synopsis

‘Jhuk Gaya Aasman (1968)’, a romantic comedy directed by Lekh Tandon, featured Rajendra Kumar and Saira Banu in the romantic lead. A remake of the American film “Here Comes Mr. Jordan” (1941), ‘Jhuk Gaya Aasman’ was quite ahead of its time. The music by Shankar Jaikishan was a big hit with songs like ‘Kaun Hai Jo Sapno mein Aaya’ and ‘Unse Mili Nazar’ being hummed till this day. Shailendra, Hasrat Jaipuri and S.H. Bihari shared the honours for its songs which were recorded in the voices of Mohd. Rafi, Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle.
